Beta skills: spelling and grammar, plot arc editing, consistency of details editing.
Expertise: Chicago details (I'm a Chicago native), canon details, characterization details.
I don't have insurmountable squicks and I don't have triggers, but I prefer not reading kidfic, mpreg, noncanon animal cruelty. I will, however, for the love of fandom, beta even those if the writer cannot find anyone else to be their beta.
Because of time constraints, I may have to restrict acceptance of beta assignment based on how long the fic is and how close to dSSS deadline the writer requests beta. (Specifics to be discussed if you contact me about beta.)
