Four Weeks and Counting!
All you amazing dSSS participants, you have FOUR WEEKS LEFT to create your assigned gift-work for your recipient! Remember to leave enough time to get it beta'd, to make revisions, and to figure out the upload instructions, which are roughly the same as last year, for your work format.
Deadline
Monday, December 14, by 11:59pm Chicago time. Works go live one week later. \o/
Defaulting
If you find that you need to default on your assignment, please let us know as soon as possible so that we may recruit a pinch hitter to take your recipient's prompt(s). The more time the pinch hitter has to create the gift, the happier everyone will be!
Assignments
Due to a minor technical glitch, for which the mods are so very sorry, two assignments were mistakenly sent out. To clarify which assignment is correct and save you some confusion, the assignment you are to fulfill is the one on your AO3 dashboard under the Assignments tab. Again, the mods are terribly sorry for the glitch.
Beta Requests & Offers
Remember that all works must be beta'd, no matter what format they're in. If you are having trouble finding a beta, please email us and we'll post an anonymized beta request for you. Then you can contact likely volunteers directly (unless they're your recipient. Do NOT contact your recipient!). If you can volunteer to beta in ANY of our giftwork formats, please do that at the Call for Betas page!

Now for the fun part! How are things going? Are you finished? Are you chugging right along? Have you scrapped all your bunnies in sheer frustration? Did you forget that you even signed up for this exchange? (Meep! Say it isn't so!)
