One week!

There is ONE WEEK LEFT to sign up to write, make art, or vid for DSSS 2011! If you need to edit your 3 requests and everything you're willing to offer, you must do it by this deadline.

Some reminders

• Please tell us EVERYTHING you're willing to create in your offer. That includes pairings and genres: If you're willing to create AUs, you should include that in your offer details.

• Specify your non-story request formats (art/vid) in the *description* field of that character/pairing request -- otherwise the system assumes you're asking for a story!!

• Put request details in the *description* field! If you really want a certain AU (Space! Old west! Jungle adventurers! Broadway musical! Harlequin!), say so here; however, keep in mind that the only thing you're guaranteed to match on are the characters/pairings. Optional details are optional. :)

Please let us know if you have any questions: dsss.admin@gmail.com. Thanks!

Signups close October 19 at 11:59pm Chicago time.

Aaahhhh--help? The database hates me. It replaced my first request with my second request and then made me spend so much time unticking boxes that it finally timed out and won't let me fix it. *sigh*

I think the deadline is preventing the edit from taking now. I could try, though.

Thanks! This time it took, although it still looks like one request, the second is now mentioned in the description, and I am attempting to correct it now.

The database is kind of strange. The error message was: "You have already signed up for this challenge," so I thought it was the deadline. Also, if you click "just add one request or offer," it goes to Offer 2, but then doesn't actually accept a second offer, telling you one offer is the maximum. It then lets you select "add a second request instead." I'm trying that now.

Thanks so much! I think I got it straightened out now. Sheesh. :)

I'll make sure to upload a note for Santa this year. :)
