Takeover Announcement! -Admin Post

Fellow duesers,

Following the mods call for support and volunteers earlier this week, I would like to announce that

dueser and I wicked3659 /CJ on Discord will be taking over the running of DSSS this year.
 

I've run exchanges on dreamwidth for over a decade and Dueser has lots of experience running AO3 exchanges, including our very own DS Summer Swap, which was a resounding success in the summer of 2021.

We will be making some changes to how the exchange is run, nothing major or scary but mostly involving AO3 tagsets and request visibility. These will be detailed in due course nearer the time.

I want to applaud all of the previous DSSS mods, who have done a fantastic job running the exchange for many years. We only hope to do it and you justice this year and beyond.

We'll be in touch soon with our usual DSSS kick-off announcement.

One additional note: I will be working with Open Doors on importing the old dSSSes to AO3, so I'll still be around (and of course available to consult with issues).

Hi, dueser and wicked3659! Now that participants are starting to submit their works would be a good time to tell them to keep their beta's name "seekrit" when thanking them before Author Reveal Time and that they can edit in their beta's name after their own name is revealed.
