I posted a list of recs and guesses at my journal but wanted to see if anyone else had any guesses. I'm really bad at this but it amuses me to try, so here's to trying...

As you can see, there are a few people whose names appear twice as creators this year. One of these, musegaarid, was simply generous enough to make their recipient both a story and a vid; the others were all pinchhitters. 2009 was the Year of The Pinchhitter, you guys. belmanoir! verushka70! j_s_cavalcante! ariastar! elementalv! Step up and take a bow, my friends -- you guys saved the day. And special mention goes to elementalv, who not only agreed to take ONE pinchhit, but then decided to go ahead and grab a SECOND one, about two hours before the archive went live, because she is just that amazing. \o/

Thanks to all of you, and to everyone who participated. You guys make dSSS what it is every year, and I am always overwhelmed by your generosity and enthusiasm. ♥

I have read almost every single entry in this year's DSSS (and plan to read those I haven't yet gotten to), and I have to say, we are a lucky bunch.  I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to write for snoopypez and to receive a story that is absolute greatness from belmanoir , and to take in all the excellent work, and to be writing in this incredible, generous fandom.
