Guessing Games?

I know several authors (wintercreek, helens78, lucifuge_5 and mizface and maybe others) have offered prizes for anyone who correctly guesses what they wrote for this year's dSSS. And I love playing guessing games, even though I am really, really terrible about it.

So leave a comment with your guesses. Maybe there will be a prize for the person who guesses the most authors/artists correctly. And don't forget to leave recs at the rec-as-you-read post here!

Ah, this is a great idea, Aka! I just looked over the wonderful art so far, and my guesses are: 'Can't Fight This Feeling' is by dvldb, 'Pas De Deux' (OMG I can't stop staring at it!) is by j_s_cavalcante, and 'One Warm Touch' and maybe also 'One Gentle Kiss' could be by - I think her AO3 username is look_turtles? Also, though I haven't started reading yet, I'd bet that 'Out Of Nowhere' is by helens78.

Also, that'll teach me to pay too much attention to typographical details--I thought "All We Gotta Do is Be Brave and Be Kind" might be Spuffy's, but she usually doesn't have slanting citation marks (or whatever you call them).

Guessing was hard this year - there were several "new" people - people either new or returning to the fandom, and several people wrote against type or pairing...

I, um, made a spreadsheet charting who had given comments/kudos to what (feel free to tease me about this). That didn't give near enough information to solve the problem, but it did eliminate a lot of possibilities.

And you were the only one who got mine right! You do know me well. : ) What gave it away?

I thought about doing that, especially after finding out that you could comment on your own anonymous story, but not leave a kudo for it.

Yours I guessed at because you had the same author's note on both your Yuletide story and your dSSS story...*g* There were several stories that I thought "felt" like you in tone and style, but couldn't pick just one.

"Bounce" is awesome! I am glad you are flattered even though I guessed wrong.

Actually, my reasoning for guessing this particular writer was that I remember some of her stories have a OFC that is really interesting like yours in "Bounce". Plus the really sexy sex.
