Awesome dSSS participants, 24 hours left until uploading deadline. Are y'all posted or about to post? Anybody still at EEEEK BEARS?

The works you post should be finished works, not incomplete drafts. You can still, after posting, edit your work until the collection opens.

Bonus minutes : I said 24 hours, but actually you have 24 hours and 16 minutes!

I've totally missed that it should be "beta'd"... I really don't understand that, as I know when I'm satisfied with something I work with and who knows what I mean better than myself? There is a few hours left and I will during the day finish off. Do I REALLY have to have it "beta'd"????

Yes, having a beta reader is a dSSS standard. If your work is complete but without a beta, and we are so close to deadline, go ahead and post the work to the collection so we don't run into a deadline issue, and I'll arrange a beta reader for you.

I'll be emailing you at your @comhem.se address to arrange this. The beta does not necessarily mean you would be asked to change anything, but having it seen by a beta is simply a rule of this particular comm.

Yeah, I can relate to the "under pressure"! I myself am an infamously "deadline-driven" fic writer.
