mondschein1: What are we doing with author/story notes -- putting them in with the text, excising them, or what?
If author or story notes would provide clues to your identify (such as thanking a beta who is also a SS writer), then I ask that you hold them until the reveal. At the reveal, you will have a chance to add this kind of information.
If the story notes are necessary to helping readers understand or appreciate the story, then just block them into the file you send me and I'll upload them along with the story. Your prerogative to add at the beginning or the end--please just make sure no identifying information is included.
