I know the first thing I did when I got my assignment was look up the LJ of the person and try to suss out what they liked best or what they might not like. Just in case the one who got me did the same thing, I scribbled out a quick letter to them on My Journal.

If you're not participating this year, how about volunteering as a beta?

Please leave a comment on this post with information about your availability or limitations (i.e. -- won't read explicit stuff or het, etc), along with an email address or another way writers can discreetly contact you. A "Dear Santa" letter makes life easier for the writer of your gift story, or your vidder or artist! You can elaborate a little on what you meant by your requests and talk about what kind of stories or art you enjoy. However, this information doesn't obligate your santa to write the kind of story or produce the kind of vid or art you specify.

When your letter is written, you can post it or link it in this community to make it easier for your santa to find.

Happy writing, everyone!
