sageHello, darling DSSS participants! There are THREE (3) weeks left, omg! Are you ready?
Uploading is open, woohoo!
Yay, we have opened the archive to posting! Writers, these are your upload instructions. Artists, these instructions are for you. Those of you doing multimedia creations such as illustrated stories should follow the artists' instructions, please.
Optional multiple works are optional
As we've mentioned before, you may – if you so desire – create more than one gift work for your recipient (such as art illustrating your story, a snippet riffing on your art, additional snippets or drawbles, etc.). Please note that DSSS only requires that you make ONE gift work for your recipient, but the option to do more is open to you if inspiration strikes. Either way is entirely fine, we promise! Note that bonus works may be posted all the way up until noon, Dec. 24th. (There's more on this in the Hints section of the posting instructions linked above.) If you have any questions about this, please ask!
Deadline & missing it
Regardless of whether you create bonus gifts, your primary gift work MUST be uploaded by Dec. 18th, 11:59pm (Chicago time). If it looks like you're going to miss the deadline, please let us know as soon as you possibly can (at dsss.admin at gmail .com) so we can call in a pinch hitter for you!

Feel free to comment and celebrate your progress or bemoan your lack of ideas/time/inspiration/etc. Remember to keep the specifics of what you're making seekrit, but commiserate at will! ♥
