YAY DSSS: 6 weeks!

Attention all DSSS 2012 Participants! You have six weeks until the deadline! Woohoo! \o/

• We will be opening the archive for you to post your works in late November/early December. We'll give you the posting instructions for uploading your work at that point.
• If you finish your giftwork early, you're welcome to make additional bonus works (of any length/complexity) for your recipient, but this is entirely optional. You're only required to make ONE gift, per the rules.
• All works are due by Tuesday, December 18, at 11:59pm Chicago time.
We hope everyone's off to a great start! Please use the links above if you're stuck or have questions -- we want you to have all the help you need to produce a fantastic DSSS giftwork for your recipient. Remember that your work must meet the quality and length requirements laid out in the rules, so reread those if you need to. And if you need ANYTHING about your assignment clarified, please email us at dsss.admin at gmail.com and we will go ask your recipient on your behalf. Everything must stay anonymous until Reveal Day, Jan 1st, so let us do the asking FOR you.
Pinch hits
If you won't be able to complete your assignment by the deadline, please let us know as soon as possible so we can activate a pinch hitter. The more notice you give us, the more time the pinch hitter will have to create the giftwork, so sooner is better. If you get done early and want to volunteer to be a pinch hitter, you can do that at this link.

Okay! That's all the admin stuff. I'll be back next week with another check-in post. In the meantime, how are things going? Do you have your idea? Do you have too many ideas? Keep what you're making & who you're making it for SEEKRIT, but otherwise use the comments below to wail in panic, do cartwheels of joy, and cheer each other on!
