Dear Awesome dSSS Participants and Friends,
It's pinch hitter time! All volunteers are welcome -- you do NOT have to be signed up for dSSS to pinch hit -- and we may need people who can write fic, make fanart, podfic or vid, so if you can, please help!
A pinch hitter is someone who steps in to fulfill a request if one of the participants has to drop out. Fingers crossed, everyone will be able to turn in their assignments as planned, but if RL emergencies arise, that’s when the mods will bring in a pinch hitter. This can happen at any time, including the last minute, which means sometimes pinch hitters have to work to a very short deadline.
To volunteer to pinch hit, please comment to THIS LIVEJOURNAL POST* with the following information:
Your AO3/Tumblr handle, if you are commenting anonymously
Email address/best way to contact you:
Format(s) you can offer (fic, art, vid, podfic):
Characters and pairings you can offer:
Restrictions (things you aren't comfortable offering):

If you don’t want to post your email address publicly, drop the mods a line at dsss.admin AT gmail DOT com so that we know how to reach you if we need your services.
The dSSS submission deadline is Wednesday 14 December 2016 11:59PM CST. Pinch hitters will get a little extra time, but we want everyone to aim for the 1th so we can be sure everyone gets something when the giftworks go live (Dec. 24th). If you have any questions or concerns, please email your friendly neighborhood mods at dsss.admin at gmail and we'll do everything we can to help you out.

Most characters and pairings are just fine, but I tend to favor Fraser/RayK and Fraser/Victoria. Het, gen, and slash are all fine. Any rating is also fine.
Restrictions:
Hard limits in terms of what I won't write:
- mpreg
- Alpha/omega
- destiny/prophecies/soulmate fic
- crossover fic
- kidfic
Generally prefer not to write, but could be convinced for the right reasons:
- AU
- Dead!Bob-centric fic
- animal fic (Dief, Turtle, etc.)
- RayV in a romantic relationship

Characters and pairings you can offer: Really, anything, anyone. I'm most comfortable with F/K, but I've also written F/K/V and gen Dief; and in the distant past under a previous pseud (surfgirl), I wrote Frannie and Thatcher POV.
Restrictions (things you aren't comfortable offering): kidfic, mpreg, underage sex/exploitation. Outside of those three things, I'm open to many things. I'm very comfortable with smut and angst. I'm also okay with BDSM, infidelity, noncon/dubcon, major character death--iow, dark fic. So if someone needs anything like that, I'll gladly step in. But I'm also happy to write fluff, too. *g*
