It's pinch hitter time! All volunteers are welcome -- you do not have to be signed up for dSSS to pinch hit -- if you can pinch hit to write fic, make fanart, podfic, or vid, please volunteer to help!
A pinch hitter is someone who steps in to fulfill a request if one of the participants has to drop out. Hopefully everyone will be able to turn in their assignments as planned, but if RL emergencies arise, that’s when the mods will bring in a pinch hitter. This can happen at any time, including the last minute, which means sometimes pinch hitters have to work to a very short deadline.
To volunteer to pinch hit, please comment to this post right here with the following information:
Your AO3/Tumblr handle, if you are commenting anonymously
Email address or other best way to contact you
Format(s) you can offer (fic, art, vid, podfic)
Characters and pairings you can offer
Restrictions (things you aren't comfortable offering)
If you don’t want to post your email address publicly, drop the mods a line at dsss.admin at gmail dot com so that we know how to reach you if we need your volunteer help.
The general dSSS submission deadline is Saturday, December 15 at 11:59PM CST. Pinch hitters will be allowed a December 22 deadline, but we want everyone to aim for the 15th. If you have any questions or concerns, please email your friendly neighborhood mods at dsss.admin at gmail dot com and we'll do everything we can to help you out.

Format(s) you can offer (fic, art, vid, podfic): art is faster for a pinch hit, for me. Could do a short story, I guess.
Characters and pairings you can offer: Fraser/Ray K is easiest, also happy with gen, and any combo of Fraser and either or both Rays. And always Dief!
Restrictions (things you aren't comfortable offering): tragic or downer themes like heavy angst, all hurt no comfort, or infidelity. Prefer art to be max. M rated. Fic can be any rating.

Format(s) I can offer: fic, art (photo manips only for now)
Characters and pairings I can do: Any/all slash, het, or gen characters or pairings.
I think I'm pretty good at animal POV (e.g. Ante, Dief, Turtle), angst, angst w/a happy ending, jealousy, romance, odd pairings, PG/R/XXX explicit slash or het pairings or threesomes, dubcon, noncon, slash or femdom BDSM, hate sex, canonical character death.
(Except I probably shouldn't attempt femslash. I don't think I'm good at it & the results could be disappointing. But I am willing to give it a shot, if necessary & no one else is up for it.)
Restrictions: No mpreg. No noncanonical kidfic or animal cruelty. Otherwise, anything goes.
