Assignments are out! You should receive an email within the next few minutes that tells you the name of the person you are assigned to write for and their requests.
Everything between the name of your assignment and my good luck wishes is verbatim what the individual put into their registration email. If you need clarification of any of this information do not contact the individual directly!! Email me and I will email them and see if we can resolve your questions.
To the best of my ability I have have matched first priority requests; however, remember writers are not required to write your first priority requests. On the other hand, writers, remember someone is making the same kinds of decisions about your requests and do the best you can in the spirit of giving.
Once assignments are out, many folks choose to write a "Dear Santa" letter in their livejournal to give their SS writer some direction. You aren't required to do this but some writers do like to hear from you, so it's up to you!
If I messed your assignment and assigned you something you indicated you would not be willing to write, please email me ASAP so that I can juggle assignments.
Thanks!
