Areas of expertise: Chicago, wolves, medical/ER care/details, characterization, canon, Chicago Police, historical Chicago details (last 40-60 years), second-generation Eastern and Southern European immigrant experience details

Volunteering to beta for fic, volunteering to cheerlead for vids and art.

Beta skills: spelling and grammar, plot arc editing, consistency of details editing.

Expertise: Chicago details (I'm a Chicago native), canon details, characterization details.

I don't have insurmountable squicks and I don't have triggers, but I prefer not reading kidfic, mpreg, noncanon animal cruelty. I will, however, for the love of fandom, beta even those if the writer cannot find anyone else to be their beta.

Because of time constraints, I may have to restrict acceptance of beta assignment based on how long the fic is and how close to dSSS deadline the writer requests beta. (Specifics to be discussed if you contact me about beta.)

FRTDNEATJ, fic for me to beta needs to be in a Word Doc or an email body or some other non-Google form.

I can copy edit. If you're happpy with your fic but just want the grammar/punctuation etc checking, let me know. I can also check the text of comics etc.

Things outside my comfort zone: I'll beta anything, but please warn in advance for sexual assault or child abuse. Also I'm very busy at this time of year, so I may not be able to do long fics at the last minute.
