Emailed responses to these comments come to aerye and me, not to the commenter, so although all that second-hand gratitude is not unpleasant to read, I'm afraid it isn't reaching its intended recipients. *g*

Unrelatedly, I thought it might interest you all to know that the archive has been getting so many hits it has actually broken my stats-reading software. \o/ You guys are rockstars of the international variety.

Anybody know of any good stats-reading software that's capable of handling larger quantities of data?

They are! I'm not sure that everyone does, but it's generally considered polite.

(I didn't know that either, when I first posted stuff at the big ds archive. By the time I figured it out, it was way too late. There ought to be some kind of etiquette primer for fandom. *g*)

Not sure what you're using--but statscounter handles up to 800 hits a day for me. Or are you looking for something desktop based?

I have a desktop based thing now, yeah--I use the free version of M5 Analyzer. It handles my normal webtraffic okay, but the archive was bringing in well in excess of 800 hits per day when it first opened.

I guess it'll slow down over time, though, so I'll probably be fine if I wait. *g*
