I meant to post when there were two weeks left until deadline, but I...missed it. So here is your twelve (and a half) day warning! Slightly more dire than the two week one would have been, but twelve and a half days is still plenty of time to write a one thousand word story. And remember, if you feel stuck, you can approach one of our awesome beta volunteers for help -- sometimes tossing ideas around with another person is all you need to get you writing again.

If you are thinking you might have to drop out of the challenge, though, now is the time to decide. We have several folks volunteering to pinch-hit, so as long as we've got enough notice, nobody's recipient has to go without. Just email me as soon as possible: sprat75 at gmail dot com.
