Luckily, we are counting down to a fic deadline, and not the end of the world, so you don't have to go having all kinds of crazy sex and contemplating the meaning of existence. Unless you really want to, in which case you have my blessing, but only after you've uploaded your story, okay?
Um. For those of you who haven't seen the movie*, this is basically just your one last reminder that stories are due today, at 11:59 PM CT. If you are panicking and swearing off ficathons for the rest of forever and making your loved ones promise to physically restrain you should you forget your misery by the time registration opens next fall, it's all good -- this is just part of the normal dSSS writing process.
However, if eleven-thirty rolls around and you're still desperately typing, or if you have last-minute trouble with the upload form or something, please send me an email. If I have neither heard from you nor seen your story uploaded when that deadline rolls around, I'm going to start trying to line up a pinch-hitter for your prompts so your recipient doesn't have to go without.
Keep at it, still-writing-people! You can do it! And to all of you who've uploaded already, woooHOOO! There are some incredible new stories in our fandom, you guys. I can't wait until everybody gets to read them.
My god, how have you not seen this movie? CKR kisses a boy! It is exceptionally awkward/hot! You should really rent it -- once you've finished your story, of course.
