I did read the story that you so kindly, amazingly, wrote for me.  I marveled at how it had everything I wanted, even some things I didn't know I wanted but realized that I desperately wanted upon reading your amazing story, and I marveled at various things, such as the many great lines about trauma-induced phobias and pupils turning into cartoon hearts (my own pupils had an identical reaction to your story), and the numerous others, and I marveled at temper tantrums and Dief and conniving Fraser and boys crushing on each other, and I reached for heart medication that I don't even possess or take but maybe I should because there were a couple of lines about t-shirts, and then, when I thought there was no more to flail about, I was able to flail about Stella, and how you did not dis her but made her so cool, and how they are all living in Chicago together and then I revived long enough to write a comment, but then it said that there was no comment.

[insert long dramatic sigh]

Anyway, in case you did not receive a little email alert about that comment, I write a heartfelt thank you here, because you rock.

Next I'm going to read: [name of story, with link]

If you'd rather read in batches, repeat the first couple of lines as many times as you like in each comment.

People who submitted stories to DSSS this year are welcome to comment anonymously to avoid compromising their authorial anonymity, but everyone -- writers, readers, lurkers, you! -- is encouraged to play.

On your marks, get set... let's read!

*waves* Hi wonderful Seekrit Santa Administrator Angels! I made a lame mistake this morning when I was hungover very sleepy, and didn't have time to figure it out, and sent you a panicked e-mail regarding how it might be fixed, but now that I have ingested lots of aspirin and caffeine more time to think than I did earlier, I've figured it out myself. *is occasionally a twit*

FOR MY SEEKRIT SANTA WRITER PERSON:

&hearts &hearts &hearts &hearts &hearts

OMGYAY!! Befuddled Vecchio, how cute is he? Plus Kowalski, and Dief and Frannie! Also more really cool stuff that I won't say, 'cause it'd spoil the surprise, so I'll just point people here:

Go, all ye Vecchio lovers, all ye lovers of Vecchio/Kowalski, and... just go, 'kay? *makes shooing motions*
