Call for Pinch-Hitters

Dear Lovely DSSS Participants,

It's pinch hitter time! All volunteers are welcome -- you do NOT have to be signed up for DSSS to pinch hit -- and we may need people who can write fic, make fanart, or vid, so if you can, please help!

The DSSS submission deadline is Tuesday 18 December 2012 11:59PM CST. Pinch hitters will get a little extra time, but we want everyone to aim for the 18th so we can be sure everyone gets something when the giftworks go live (Dec. 24th). Characters and pairings you can offer: I'm most comfortable with the Kowalski season (or seasons? depending on how you count, I guess?). Within the Kowalski era, pretty much any character, large or small, I can write, in any combination with almost any other character (except for RayK/RayV--RayK/RayV/Fraser is fine, though). I love writing femmeslash and gen, though het and slash are just peachy too.

Restrictions (things you aren't comfortable offering): no RayK/RayV, though RayK/RayV/Fraser is fine. My biggest issue is that I don't have access to the source right at the moment--don't get me wrong; I've seen it a million times, but it's been a while, so I probably can't do specific-detail tags. But as long as the request doesn't require me to remember really specific details, I can probably pull it off. I prefer writing gen to romance fic, but I'm fine with romance if that's what needs writing. I can't write kidfic, mpreg/regular pregnancy, incest, or bestiality or harm to animals, and I'm not great at kinkfic in general (like, if BDSM is a huge part of the request I am not going to feel very confident in my abilities to pull it off). In general the less AU the request, the better I will be able to do it.
