Hi everyone!
I hope you're all having wonderful ideas. If you're the sort of writer who benefits from loads of cheerleading and encouragement, don't forget to check out the Cheerleaders and Betas post. Another great resource is
ficfinishing, which has a special End Of Year Double Round for people writing to a holiday deadline. Just remember to keep your gift a Seekrit!
We are blessed with many awesome writers in due South fandom, and I often find inspiration in other people's words. Have you ever found yourself rereading a particular passage in a fanfic and feeling like you've just had a revelation? Maybe it's a gorgeous description of driving through Chicago at night. Perhaps it's a couple of lines that change your perception of a character. Maybe it's a beautiful paragraph that you remember long after you've finished reading the story. Maybe it's a piece of fanart that makes your brain bubble with the words to the story behind it. Perhaps it's a piece of dialogue that always leaves you in stitches.
Why not share it here with us in the comments. Give us all a taste of something you find inspiring.
( I'll go first to start us off. )
