One Week Left!

Seven days, my darlings! Seven speedy little days until we MUST have your assigned gift work uploaded into the DSSS 2012 collection. As we've said previously, we are previewing the works to make sure they are up to DSSS expectations. If we have issues with your uploaded work, then we may contact you concerning revisions and/or call in a pinch hitter. Please remember to have your work fully edited (if fic) or reviewed (if art or vid) by a qualified beta and to leave sufficient time to rewrite/redo.

Artists/Vidders! WE must upload your work to the generously provided DSSS image host (thanks, Sprat!) in order to keep you anonymous. That means you have to email your images to us AND leave time for us to email the URLs back to you, at which point you'll edit the URL(s) into your AO3 post. Please leave enough time!!

Deadline! If you have ANY doubt about being able to make the 11:59pm CST, Dec 18th deadline for your assigned work, please email us ASAP (dsss.admin@gmail dot com) and let us know. If the deadline arrives and there's no work from you in the archive, then we will assign pinch hitters; however, the more notice you can give us, the easier it is on everyone.

Please note: Bonus works are due when I post Last Call on Dec 22, but these are strictly BONUS. Your assigned primary work should already be in the archive by the 18th.

DONE! -- I'm uploaded & done, yayayayayay!
Green -- It's back from beta? I'll just be over here tinkering until, oh, Dec 24 or so?
Yellow -- I'd be fine if not for this enormous rewrite/redo. *eyes calendar worriedly*
Orange -- Er, I'm more than halfway done...maybe? Pass the coffee?
Red -- Oh sh*t. Too many ideas and not enough progress. Halp!!
BEARS -- OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD

Again, WORKS will be revealed the evening of Dec 24, Chicago time. Authors/Artists are revealed Jan 1st, so be sure to remain anonymous until New Year's.

I notice that Yuletide has an official post where people can raise their hands if they're likely to be delayed viewing their gift.  I'm in that position myself, so I thought maybe it'd be useful for us to have a place to announce such information & stave off author-panic come xmas. :)

So: comment here if you are going to be away from internet/distracted by the holidays/otherwise unlikely to view your gift right away.  No details necessary; dates would be helfpul.  Do tell us your AO3 name so your Santa knows who you are (unless you have an identity-security issue about linking your LJ and AO3 names, in which case...I can't think of a good workaround, so this is probably not a helpful post for you, sorry.)
